It has been speculated for a while, ever since Crown Princess Victoria and Daniel were married on June 19:th last year, but today the news came that Victoria is pregnant. The Royal Court announced the news on its website shortly after 15:00 p.m. They write that the baby is expected in March and that the mother are doing well and there will be no changes in Victoria's schedule this fall.
Today Victoria participated in the awards 'Swedish Year in the World' at the Grand Hotel in Stockholm. At that time, the news had not come out and obviously it was planned to release the news after the awards otherwise Victoria had been completely attacked with questions.

There are already speculations about how they will name the child . Bookmakers have already taken up the odds. Lowest odds are Gustav and Oscar as boy's names and Désirée and Christina, as girl's names. I can agree about Gustav and Oscar but I don't agree with the girl's names .
